Today I had several firsts. I’m pretty sure it was one of the first times I was up, dressed, and out of the house by 6:30 am on a Saturday….at least it felt that way this morning. To help supplement my teaching income, like many teachers I have a 2nd job. I sell jewelry; I am an independent distributor with Premier Designs — a high fashion jewelry direct sales company. It is something which I find so much fun. One of my favorite things about this second job is the times I gather with other jewelry ladies. Today was one of those occasions.
Today was my first time attending Premier’s Regional Rally. It’s a day of prize giveaways, company announcements, training, and recognition. Attendees were from at least five states in the Southeast. In addition to attending, I volunteered to assist with registration. Therefore, I also had the opportunity to meet and talk with so many new people. I welcomed and greeted them and pointed them to the registration areas. And my favorite new item of the day: the company debuted a new jewelry line and provided us new catalogs.
To recap, I experienced several new things today: 1. First time at regional rally 2. first time volunteering at rally 3. meeting many new people 4. new jewelry and catalogs. A fun day, indeed.
